Held: Pregnancy & Postpartum Support Circle
A 6-Month Creative Arts Support Group for Mothers

So much of motherhood is about holding — holding your baby, holding responsibilities, holding emotions, and holding the many changes that come with this new chapter of life. But who holds the mother?
Held is a monthly Creative Arts support circle created for expecting mothers and mothers within the first year postpartum who are seeking connection, reflection, and a space to simply be. Pregnancy and early motherhood bring profound transitions — emotionally, physically, relationally, and within our sense of identity. Alongside the love and joy can also come exhaustion, uncertainty, anxiety, loneliness, overwhelm, and the question: “Who am I becoming?”
This group offers a safe, compassionate space to explore the transition into motherhood while connecting with other mothers walking a similar path. Through guided conversation, creative arts therapy, gentle movement, mindfulness, and nervous system-based practices, participants will have the opportunity to reconnect with themselves, process their experiences, and feel supported in community.
You may find yourself wondering:
Who am I now that I am becoming a mother?
How do I care for myself while caring for my baby?
How do I navigate changes in my body, relationships, and identity?
How can I feel more grounded and connected during this season?
Whether you are preparing to welcome your baby or navigating life with a little one, all parts of your motherhood experience are welcome here. Each session includes a structured monthly theme while allowing space for organic conversation and what participants are bringing into the room.
Monthly Themes
Month 1: Entering Motherhood — Honoring the Transition: Exploring expectations, emotions, birth stories, hopes, fears, and the journey into becoming a mother.
Month 2: The Mother Within — Identity & Self: Reflecting on identity shifts, changing roles, body image, creativity, and reconnecting with yourself.
Month 3: Holding Yourself — Nervous System Support: Learning grounding practices, regulation tools, and compassionate ways to care for yourself while caring for your baby.
Month 4: Relationships, Support & The Changing Family System: Exploring partnership changes, family dynamics, boundaries, communication, and asking for support.
Month 5: The Full Spectrum of Motherhood: Making space for all emotions — joy, grief, anxiety, guilt, overwhelm, gratitude, and love.
Month 6: Integration — Growing with Compassion: Honoring your growth, strengthening confidence, and creating sustainable practices for the next chapter.
Group Details
Who: Expecting mothers and mothers within the first year postpartum
When: First Monday of each month
Time: 7:00–8:15 PM
Format: Virtual
Investment: $200 for the full 6-month circle

Come exactly as you are — tired, joyful, uncertain, overwhelmed, or somewhere in between. This is a space to be supported, witnessed, and held.

Nervous System Reset
A monthly virtual somatic and expressive arts gathering designed to help participants slow down, reconnect, and support nervous system regulation in community.
In a world that often leaves us overstimulated, emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or stuck in “survival mode,” this virtual gathering offers an opportunity to pause, breathe, reflect, and return to yourself through guided somatic and creative practices. Each month explores a unique seasonal theme related to emotional wellbeing, nervous system regulation, grounding, burnout recovery, self-compassion, stress relief, embodiment, creativity, grief, transition, joy, or restoration.
Sessions may include:
guided grounding and nervous system regulation practices
mindfulness and breathwork
gentle movement and embodiment exercises
reflective journaling or expressive arts prompts
optional community reflection and connection
calming closing rituals for integration
No art or movement experience is needed. This gathering is designed to feel restorative, supportive, and emotionally nourishing without the pressure of a traditional therapy process group. Come as you are.

Nervous System Reset is a monthly virtual somatic and expressive arts gathering designed to help participants slow down, reconnect, and support their nervous system in community.
Through guided grounding practices, mindfulness, gentle movement, reflective journaling, creative exploration, and optional group reflection, each gathering offers a restorative space for emotional wellbeing, self-compassion, and connection.
No prior art or movement experience is needed.
